Sock Wrapping Technique by #fave4girl @absolutestrengthstylist
I shampooed my hair with Beyond Big Volume Shampoo and then used the Take Me To Tahiti One Minute Moisture Mask. After I got out of the shower I brushed my hair and towel dried it very well, and applied Up for Air Air Dry Cream all over. After letting my hair air dry for about an hour, I took 2 knee-high socks and a clipped one on top of my head with a duckbill clip, and used it as one of the three strands for my three stranded braid. I took my hair into 2 sections one on the right side and one on the left side and simply braided my hair with the sock, and used a hair tie at the ends. I then slept with that in my hair, and took it out the next morning. I applied Texture Takeover Oomph Enhancing Texturizing Hairspray and it was good to go. Using the sock as one of my three strands in the braids creates a more wavy look and a less crimped look like a regular three stranded braid would give you.
Braided Pigtail Technique by #fave4girl @kayla_benay
This is sooo simple all I did was 2 braids. I let my hair mostly air dry then before bed threw some braids in and slept in them! Braid them closer to your face to have the waves more around your face and a little softer in the back. Also the key is the right tension! You want to slowly loosen the tension as you braid down otherwise the waves will be really tight at the bottom and not evenly through out!! Space Bun Technique by @fave4girldanielle
I have very thick, long hair. In order for my hair to get the level of wave I want I have to split my hair into two space buns to air dry. My air dry regime include Hydra Help Shampoo + Take Me To Tahiti One Minute Moisture Mask as my shower prep. After I've towel-dried my hair I apply a cocktail of Up for Air Air Dry Cream with Had Me At Hibiscus Hair Oil. This gives my thick hair the extra hydration it needs to prevent frizz. I then split my hair into two sections and create a high pigtail on one side. I then twist my hair and create a bun, I do the same on the other side. In the morning I may add some Texture Takeover Oomph Enhancing Texturizing Hairspray if I feel I need more volume.
