Last week on American Beauty Star contestants got to #payitfave4ward with makeovers on real-life heroes with transformations that were out of this world. Take a minute to check out the time-lapse videos of the makeovers and get ready to be amazed by these gorgeous women!
Texturized Waves
Lead fave4 Style Expert, Amanda Soltwisch, @blohaute, gives us the DIY guide to her fave look of the season
Style: Lived-in textured waves or pony. This combo gives just the right amount of definition and shine.
Ideal For: Any type of hair. Matte Made is light enough but adds just the right amount of texture/tousle to the hair. The Flex Reflect adds just a hint of shine to liven up the style!
DIY Guide:
- Prep with Hydra Help (for the moisture we all need) + Let’s Go Light (so the hair doesn’t feel too weighed down for the desired styles).
- Blow dry then curl with a curling iron until the desired amount of texture is achieved
- Next, emulsify a dime to quarter size amount of Matte Made in-hand. Flip hair over and apply roughly from the ends to mid-length
- Flip head back over and set hair where you want it—down or in a pony. Finish with Flex Reflect.
